Journalist Steve Miller Speaks about Government Corruption and Investigative Reporting

Miller’s talk, entitled “Investigative Reporting: Breaking Stories That Force Change” will be presented at 9:30am. Miller is available for interviews regarding the event and to share his thoughts on how every American can and should be involved in monitoring government and its officials on local, state and national levels.

Franklin Center for Government & Public Integrity will provide a full day of in-depth training to equip you with the tools and skills to become a more effective activist and citizen watchdog. Texas Watchdog seek to teach rudimentary investigation skills, beginning with crafting a public records request, knowledge of the laws regarding open records in individual states state, sources for those records and assembling those records into information that everyone can understand.
